Inspired by classical design, the property has been recently renovated to provide modern comfort while respecting the local architectural tradition. The casale is fully air-conditioned, and all bedrooms in the main building feature en-suite bathrooms. On the ground floor, the shared spaces include a traditional living room for relaxation and a dining room connected to a charming Sicilian-style kitchen, fully tiled with antique ceramics.
Multiple access points lead to the outdoors, where guests can dine under a spacious pergola and enjoy a well-equipped infinity pool. The property is situated in an area rich with attractions to explore. Between the casale and the historic center of Castellammare del Golfo, you’ll find essential shops, supermarkets, excellent bars, and bakeries. The pedestrian-friendly historic center and the bustling marina are brimming with restaurants and bars, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere.
This region offers a wide range of destinations to suit all interests. Nature lovers can visit the renowned Zingaro Nature Reserve and San Vito lo Capo, known for their white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and scenic hiking trails. History enthusiasts will appreciate the striking Greek Theater of Segesta, while wine lovers can explore the vineyards and wineries of Alcamo and Marsala. The area also retains its authentic charm, with towns steeped in history and Arab-inspired flavors. A one-hour drive away, you can discover the captivating Sicilian capital of Palermo.
Main Villa
The villa is spread over two levels:
Ground Floor:
The main entrance opens into a spacious atrium with access to three areas:
Right: A living room with direct access to the outdoors.
Center: A grand living and dining area featuring a large table, seamlessly connected to a traditionally styled Sicilian kitchen, which also leads to the laundry room.
Left: A double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower.
From the atrium, a staircase leads to the upper floor.
Upper Floor:
One double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and shower, which opens onto a covered terrace featuring a relaxation area (also accessible from the hallway).
Two additional double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, all with en-suite bathrooms with showers.
Annex: Only accessed when booking the 14 guest option.
Park:
Casale Buccellato is located in a fenced park of about 2 hectares, consisting in part of a pine forest, an orchard, a small vine and an olive grove where 3 shaded hammocks have been placed. The flooring is paved with natural stone around the farmhouse and in the central courtyard. The same stone was used to create paths that lead to the pool area and to the olive grove area with hammocks. At the back of the house, 5 steps lead to the pergola with the large table for outdoor dining and nearby are the ancient stone pile and the mobile barbecue. A few steps from the pergola is the large swimming pool area. In the central courtyard, an outdoor area covered by a canopy houses the ping pong table.
Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
From the terrace at the back of the house 4 steps downhill lead to the pergola and then to the pool area, about 10 m from the villa. The pool area is bordered by hedges and olive trees, and the view of the mountains is spectacular. At its center lies the rectangular infinity pool, 15 x 6 m wide and 1.40 m deep. The pool is purified with salt. The tank is covered with an innovative PVC (Arkoplan Touch 3000) and is accessible by a few internal steps. Sunbeds and umbrellas are positioned all around on the vast solarium paved in natural stone. The outdoor shower is solar. The pool is open from March to mid November and from September 2023, excluded the the months of June, July, August and Sepember, it will be heated on request, with 7 days notice (max temperature 28 degrees with night closing).

The farmhouse is ideally situated just 5 km from the charming village of Castellammare del Golfo, known for its vibrant fish restaurants, cozy bars, historic tuna fishery ("Tonnara"), and picturesque small port. Within walking distance from the property, you'll find a pizzeria for a convenient dining option. A short 5-minute drive will take you to supermarkets, local shops, and excellent bars.
The location provides easy access to the A29 motorway (9 km), making it perfect for exploring the surrounding treasures. The area is renowned for its stunning beaches and bays, including Scopello and the Zingaro Nature Reserve, and for its rich wine culture, with wineries in Alcamo and Marsala offering delightful tastings.
For history enthusiasts, the Greek Theater of Segesta is just 25 km away, while San Vito Lo Capo, famous for its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, is a must-visit. In September, the renowned Couscous Fest adds an extra layer of allure.
