Villa Il Basto is located in a hilltop position, just minutes away from the picturesque village of Sant’Ambrogio and the renowned seaside resort of Cefalù. Surrounded by the tranquility of the Sicilian countryside and overlooking the sea, the villa offers a breathtaking panoramic view that can be fully enjoyed from the generous outdoor spaces. The interiors of the villa are furnished in a traditional style, with an elegant mix of Sicilian elements and contemporary touches. Antique furniture and wooden beam ceilings create a warm and authentic atmosphere, as in a true family home. Outdoors, you can try your hand at making pizzas and grilling thanks to the wood-fired oven and barbecue, and then enjoy them around the large dining table shaded by a pergola, always with the infinite view of the sea. Relaxation is guaranteed by the spacious panoramic pool, while a small gym with a sea view allows you to stay in shape even on vacation. The surrounding area is full of authentic villages to explore, such as those in the Madonie Park, ideal for hiking and trekking. History enthusiasts can visit the fascinating Roman ruins of Tindari, and on clearer days, the Aeolian Islands can be spotted on the horizon, easily reachable by boat.

Interior:
The property consists of the main villa and an annex. VILLA (on two floors connected by internal stairs) - GROUND FLOOR – Open-plan living area with lounge and dining table; kitchen; laundry room; guest bathroom. FIRST FLOOR – Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower; double bedroom; living room with terrace and double sofa bed (1.60m wide); bathroom with tub. ANNEX – Open-plan space with living area, double bed and bathroom with shower.

Park:
From the automatic gate, a short driveway leads to the parking area. The large panoramic terrace surrounding the villa hosts, on one side, the pool with a sunbathing area, and on the other, a covered area with dining table and an outdoor lounge shaded by a wooden pergola. The terrace continues with two outdoor kitchens: one equipped with a pizza oven, the other with a built-in barbecue. Each outdoor space is designed to fully enjoy the breathtaking sea view. The terraced garden, which surrounds the house, is planted with fruit trees typical of the area, including oranges, lemons, and figs.

Swimming Pool:
The pool, in a soft uneven shape, is 1,3 m deep and approximately 8 x 4 m. From its solarium complete with sunbeams and umbrellas you can soak up the sun as well as take in the incredible views. The pool is open from May 1st to October 31st.

Villa Respiro located at short driving distance to the pretty medieval centre of Cefalù with its numerous restaurants, shops and long sandy beaches. Sleeping up to 8 people, it is made up as an attractive stone villa and two wooden clad annexes, one of the annexes with a double room and the other with two double bedrooms and views of the sea and mountains. The larger stone villa also has a well-designed kitchen and dining area for 4. The property can accommodate up to 8 people. However, in low season, we prefer to rent this villa for a maximum of 4 guests (April to 4th May and throughout the month of October) as we feel the inside space would not be comfortable for a larger party when the temperature is cooler. The style of the whole property feels modern yet relaxed, with a nice mix of Sicilian and Scandinavian design. Its whitewashed wooden beams and neutral shades provide the perfect backdrop for simple, contemporary furnishings, just right for laid-back holidays in the sunshine. Designed for summer living, an outside kitchen and a large covered terrace with a dining table for 10 set the scene for meals with friends and family. With its private lawned garden, a pool for cooling off and beautiful scenery, Villa Respiro really is an ideal holiday home for family and friends.

Interior:
Main House: Open-space living with kitchen and dining for 4 persons, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. Annex 1: Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. Annex 2: Two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

Park:
The immediate area surrounding the villa is in soft lawn. The rest is typically terraced with low stone walls and olive trees. Outdoor life is mainly taken on the large terrace that surrounds the house. One area is a comfortable living area with armchairs and a sofa. On the other side is the large outdoor kitchen, complete with a stone oven for making pizza, and the large dining area for 10 is shaded by a beautiful cover in whitewashed beams.
Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:
The pool is 4 m. x 4 m. and 1,5 m. deep. Its deck is complete with sunbeds. The pool is open from May 1st to October 31st.

The price includes: gas for cooking use, water, electricity (up to 330 kwh per week), weekly linen, initial and final cleaning, park and pool maintenance, Wi-Fi connection

The price does not include: electricity (on consumption over 47,15 kwh per day) ,mandatory , extra cleaning when pets are present (€ 50,00 per animal per week or part of week), tourism tax € 2,00 per person per night for the first 5 nights. Please note that children under 12 years old will not pay, in case of non-disposal of urban waste, the extra payment of € 70.00 per week or part of week will be required at check-out
