Thanks to the restoration of the old trulli, this rural residence has been transformed into a magical place where the past, still alive in its typical structures and romantic appeal, is mixed with the modern comfort of the austere lines of the new appurtenances, creating a place worthy of a holiday of pure energetic refreshment. The property, composed of three separate bodies, guarantees privacy for groups of friends or families, while retaining the character of a house with shared spaces. The trullo offers a cosy atmosphere, with minimalist interiors and bright resin floors, contrasting with the essential furnishings of the kitchen-dining room. The modern lamia, the main nucleus of the house, is enriched by lively polka-dotted cement floors, offering a combination of antique and eclectic style to the rooms that compose it, to which the outdoor dining area adds further character. Separate but adjoining, the third part of the house is a lovely lamia with a large French window leading directly to the living room, equipped with a sofa bed. In the charming garden that surrounds the three residential bodies, the living and dining areas join the splendid swimming pool, completing and embellishing the entire property. Trullo Santa Pazienza is surrounded by numerous places of tourist interest as it is located about 10 km from Cisternino, 13 km from Ceglie Messapica, 20 km from the well-known towns of Grottaglie and Alberobello, in a strategic point between historical places and renowned locations where you will find food and wine specialities, artistic treasures and, just half an hour away. beautiful sandy beaches.
INTERIOR
The property consists of three independent units: the trullo (traditional Apulian dry stone circular hut with conical roof) , the main lamia (dry stone square hut with barrel vault) and the annex lamia, connected to each other by the central yard of the residence. TRULLO. The main entrance leads into the dining area that is well connected to the open-plan kitchen and the living room with direct access to the garden. The living area communicates on one side with a bedroom with a double bed (divisible) located in an alcove, with a singular wardrobe created in a recess and with an ensuite bathroom with shower in a stone tub, entered via two steps. The floor is completed by a further double bedroom and adjoining bathroom with shower (without bidet). Both bedrooms have a characteristic arch entrance without a door, but separated from the surrounding rooms by a covering fabric curtain. Thanks to the typical characteristic of trulli, these rooms are always cool even though not air-conditioned. MAIN LAMIA. Consists of a spacious sitting area communicating with the bright and well-equipped open kitchen with access through a large French window to the outdoor dining area under the brick portico. The area is served by a bathroom with shower (without bidet). The sleeping area, accessible up two steps, has a suite (separated by a darkened curtain) with a small passage room with additional single bed, a double bedroom with divisible bed and direct access to the garden; the two bedrooms share a bathroom with the shower located in a separate room and with double entrance from both rooms. ANNEX LAMIA. Consists of a spacious living room with tho single joinable beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower. A practical laundry room with washing machine completes this room.
PARK
Once past the entrance gate of the property, reached along a dirt road of about 200 m in the countryside in which the house is located, you come to a large flight of 9 white steps leading to the heart of the structure, embellished with numerous ornamental plants shaped like a hedge that surround and perfume the passage. The stairs overlook the open parking area with space for three cars. The house, centrally located with respect to the entire property, stands in a park of Mediterranean vegetation and olive trees that provide shade and cool to the set-up outdoor areas. Next to the stairs is a spacious L-shaped pergola, equipped with lighting and furnished with a large table and two large sofas. Next to it is the portico outside the kitchen with dining table and space for a small mobile barbecue. Going along the path that divides the trullo from the lamie you come to the pool area, set in a higher position than the house and which enjoys maximum privacy. The property, although not completely fenced, enjoys total privacy and tranquillity.
SWIMMING POOL
The swimming pool of Trullo Santa Pazienza is located in the rear part of the property in a privileged position that makes it completely private, although easily accessible from the house. Rectangular and measuring 8 x 4 m with a constant depth of 1.70 m, the pool is lined in light-blue PCV and has salt purification and long submerged steps along the short side for access to the water. The surrounding sunbathing area is paved in dark-coloured, non-slip teak planks, which highlight the perimeter. On the two wider sides are two umbrellas and sunbeds while close by is the hot and cold-water outdoor shower. The swimming pool can also be used in the evening, thanks to the internal and external lighting, and is available from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.

It is located in Martina Franca, a Baroque town in the province of Taranto, renowned for its picturesque streets, alleys, stately buildings and monumental churches, and nestled in the south-eastern hills of the Murgia with splendid views of vineyards, woods and centuries-old olive trees. The house is located about 6 km from the town centre with bars, restaurants and commercial activities, and less than 30 km from the seaside resorts of Torrecanne, Villanova and Savelletri. About 13 km away are Locorotondo and Cisternino, listed among the most beautiful borghi in Italy together with Martina Franca. Also a short distance away is Ceglie Messapica, recognised as the hub of Salento gastronomy. Alberobello, a picturesque agricultural centre unique in the world, can be reached in about 22 km and is known as "the capital of the trulli", featuring enchanting low stone walls, farms and a dense landscape of almond and olive trees. The nearest train station, in Martina Franca, is about 7 km from the property, while the nearest supermarket is 8 km away.
